Priya graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in 2015.   

Her passion to understand and work with the human body was enhanced by 20 years of experience participating in dance and movement classes such as ballet, tap and contemporary jazz. She completed the National Diploma program in Dance and Musical Theatre at Bodywork Company Dance Studios in Cambridge and completed an internship at the Broadway Dance Centre in New York; these experiences have helped her develop an understanding of the importance of balance, coordination and core strength in movement, necessary in the rehabilitation of patients. Priya utilizes these experiences in her daily practice in clinic when treating and advising her patients.

Priya has a strong focus in how Chiropractic care can promote the development of babies and children, also the benefits of receiving Chiropractic care throughout pregnancy. She has undertaken postgraduate training courses specific for pregnancy, babies and children and is certified in the Webster Technique. Priya is currently registered with the Royal College of Chiropractors, the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association. 

Priya has worked at The Abacus Chiropractic Clinic in Stratford upon Avon, where she was mentored by Deirdre Edwards, the founder of the practice, since graduation. Over that 10 year period, Priya has helped many pregnant women, their babies and many other paediatric patients achieve optimum function and health.

In addition to her clinical work, Priya currently works with the European Council on Chiropractic Education as a member of the quality assurance and accreditation committee, helping to ensure the ongoing development of the Chiropractic education throughout Europe. 

Priya also works as a lecturer and Clinic Supervisor at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, a role that she finds very fulfilling, and is a registered PRT mentor with the Royal College of Chiropractors, guiding new graduates as they navigate their way into clinical practice.
